Our Shipping Equipment

Babysteps Biomed Couriers uses high quality dry shippers and data loggers in order to ship cryo-preserved human specimens worldwide.

We provide and maintain fully charged and filled ready-to-use cryogenic dewars (cryo storage / transport vessel. see “Trivia” below). In addition, we provide precision data loggers that continuously monitor and record the temperature level within the cryogenic equipment for the duration of shipping and static storage. 

All of Babysteps’s shippers, storage equipment, data loggers and all our equipment are routinely tested for effectiveness and are manufactured to meet the highest quality standards.

Trivia: A cryogenic shipping and storage dewar – named after James Dewar, its developer – is a specialized type of vacuum flask used for storing and shipping cryogens (using refrigerants such as liquid nitrogen or liquid helium).
